Chaney Fire and Security Case Study

Redesigned Chaney Fire and Security Home Page

Website: Chaney Fire and Security websiteredesign

Chaney Fire and Security had a 20 year old site that needed some TLC. The owners requested a better user-experience and mobile-friendly site that could be used to launch a new marketing campaign.

CREATIVE PROCESS

After our first Fireside Chat it was apparent that the Chaney’s wanted to know that their voices were being heard when it came to their website and online presence. In the discovery call it was brought out that the previous site agency had incorrectly submitted business information to some citation websites, thus resulting in unwanted contact information being made public across the internet. It was also noted that anytime they had minor questions or requests the business owners could not get in touch with someone that could help them.

A major requirement for this redesign was a consistent user experience for local users and a one-on-one client relationship. Many in the community were familiar with the company so the redesign needed to feel cohesive with the original design, yet updated and refreshed.

Collaboration was key to updating the site with new information. And with Google’s updated verifications of businesses, a few candid photographs and images were taken so humans and robots would know this is the official Chaney Fire and Security website of Bryan, Texas.

Design Process

Because this is a 40+ year old company, we wanted to make sure that it was easier for any existing customers to recognize the site as being the same company, just with a fresh look. Color schemes were derived from the existing site and the existing logo was kept.

Results

Chaney Fire and Security reports the project as a success. At this time they are not running Google Ads or utilizing continued SEO services, but they have still received, on average, at least 1 contact form fill out each month since the release date.
